Greentube sets its sights on Pennsylvania after successfully acquiring a license to bring its content services to operators in the Keystone State. This should come as no surprise given that Pennsylvania is regarded as the 3rd highest-grossing US state in terms of total iGaming revenue. The move also marks an important milestone for the NOVOMATIC Interactive subsidiary as it continues to grow its reach across North America, making its diverse gaming library, which includes Diamond Tales: The Ugly Duckling, available to players state-wide.
Boasting of a vast selection of games from slots with $200 no deposits or free spins to awesome table games, video poker and even video bingo! No doubt this business’ already thriving success has a lot to offer to the Pennsylvanian state. The Interactive Gaming Manufacturer license will allow Greentube to collaborate with all the iGaming operators currently dominating the state, continuing to boost its content creation capabilities.
Another Strategic Move
Greentube has been keeping busy these past twelve months, making impressive strides in key regulated markets as it continues to provide its unique gaming offerings to players across the globe. Its recent expansion into Pennsylvania marks its fourth US state license acquisition since January 2022, having already extended its reach to New Jersey, Michigan, and Connecticut. The Austrian gaming powerhouse’s US market entries have also led to partnerships with a number of big-name operators, including Entain Gaming Group and Rush Street Interactive.
The company’s meteoric rise has not stopped there, as not only did it celebrate a host of Canadian launches, including Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia, and Manitoba, but last December Greentube declared that it would purchase a 40% stake in Flamingocatz Studio to help increase the business’s presence in North America. This announcement came just after the company revealed that it would be acquiring Present Creative, a US development studio now known as Greentube US, as part of this same vision.
Greentube’s ability to constantly enhance its developmental capabilities and improve its services has lent itself to the company’s substantial growth across North America. This rings especially true with its introduction of Greentube US, as the studio had already made a name for itself prior to its acquisition by creating renowned content for the iLottery and iGaming sectors. This allowed the brand to tap into the studio’s expertise and industry knowledge to improve its marketing offerings.
The Novomatic Interactive subsidiary has also extended its operations to Latin America, gaining strong traction in Peru as well as Colombia thanks to the demand for its portfolio of games, which have seen huge success with players across the region. Greentube also partnered up with Betsson for its debut in Argentina, making several of its well-known titles, including Sizzling Hot, Star Supreme, and Lucky Lady’s Charm, available in Buenos Aires. However, the biggest opportunity for the company lies within Brazil, as it hopes to continue increasing its popularity in South America.
European Market Growth
The past 12 months have also seen Greentube continue to extend its reach in European markets by focusing on building up its award-winning portfolio of legacy titles such as Book of Ra. The game’s latest rendition, Book of Ra Deluxe: Win Ways, provides players with 117,649 ways to win; now those are the types of odds we like to see. Additionally, the company’s expansion of its Diamond Link series, introducing Diamond Tales: The Little Mermaid and Diamond Tales: The Ugly Duckling, has also helped cement its European dominance.
Moreover, Greentube also made the move to bolster its presence in Italy by purchasing Admiral Sport following its takeover of well-known Italian gaming developer Capecod Solutions. The acquisition will see the company rebrand both Admiral Sport’s online and offline sports betting locations, further expanding its footprint in the Italian gambling market. Admiral Sport also represents its second B2C brand in Italy, with the first being StarVegas, which has been live since 2012.
The company’s commitment to the European market does not stop there. Early this year, it was revealed that Greentube would hold a majority stake in Alteatec’s Olympus One gaming management system and platform technology. The Malta-based business represents Greentube’s desire to strengthen its own B2B offerings by tapping into the company’s talented and experienced team.
